Doral Customs Brokers is a licensed customs broker, founded in 2012, offering customs clearance for shipments arriving in Miami, FL, or at any U.S. port.
We believe that to truly help our importers, we must become a responsive and helpful part of their logistics team. We give your shipments careful attention and keep you informed.
As your customs broker, we file customs entries and ISF through ABI, CBP’s Automated Broker Interface. We handle entries at the Miami-area ports, Port Everglades and any other U.S. port. Talk to us before you buy
Contact us before you complete your international purchase, so we can guide you on the import requirements and the documents needed. Timing and accuracy matter for every import into the U.S., and late or missing filings can lead to penalties for the importer.
Ocean shipments: the ISF
For most ocean shipments, CBP requires the ISF to be transmitted at least 24 hours before the cargo is loaded, at the foreign port, aboard the vessel bound for the U.S. Failure to comply, including late, inaccurate or missing filings, can result in CBP liquidated damages of up to $5,000 per violation.
Many new importers don’t know that a shipper can send the goods without the ISF, because it is a U.S. import requirement, not an export requirement. Learn more about the ISF.
After customs clearance
Our service continues after your shipment clears customs. We keep you updated on its availability at the seaport, airport or warehouse, and on important dates such as the last free day. We can coordinate delivery through our partners.
We also work with Miami-based freight forwarding partners for other logistics services, such as bonded warehouses, container freight stations, bonded carriers and local distribution.
