All food manufacturers and distributors wishing to export food products to the US are required by FDA to have an FDA Food Facility Registration number. Importers in the US are also required to have their own FDA Food Facility Registration number.
FDA Food Facility Registrations are valid for 2 calendar years regardless of when you first obtained your registration number. At this time FDA Food Facility Registration numbers are all expiring on December 31, 2018.
